We've installed, two powerful add-on packages for Python. BioPython is a suite of tools for biological computation and NumPy is a scientific computing package for Python. Both are available from the default install of Python on the cluster: /opt/exp_soft/python-2.7.2/bin
We've also installed ClustalW, a popular general purpose multiple sequence alignment program for DNA or proteins.
