Last month our clusters completed a century of work. This week we surpassed another milestone; 1 million compute hours.
Additionally last week for the first time in almost 3 years our users consumed 100% of available cores, a significant achievement as we started off with 12 cores and now have 284.
Our new cluster, http://hex.uct.ac.za is seeing increased usage now that we have sorted out some MPI issues with Fortran and we've also installed an MPI aware version of Gromacs.
